In It's been a couple of years since I've been able to afford being a comic enthusiast, but in my heart I still love 'em. This top ten list is a must read for fans of american comics, particularly sivler age comics.

In the words of the world's most beloved fictional green creature, there is no "try" there is do or do not. I have been inspired by a writer I know to participate in a completely unrealistic writing exercise. The goal is to write a 50k word novel by November 30th. Maybe this will help me be a writer instead of helping become a writer. Here's some history on the National Novel Writing Month.

Afro Pop Worldwide 10/19
This is a great radio program that I usually catch on Friday night commutes. For those who think that the sound of the human heart has been blanched out by the likes of Shania Twain and the Backstreet Boys, here's a little relief. The site offers some music that is free to listen to, and some archived shows as well. I'm not sure if they've podcasted yet, but it's worth find out when your local NPR station plays the show.
